Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 9, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or submitting a project brief to The Creative Mine, you confirm acceptance of these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. Nature of Services
The Creative Mine is a supervised production studio where graphic design students complete real client work as part of a Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. Briefs submitted through this site become classroom assignments. The studio reserves the right to decline any brief that does not align with current curriculum objectives or studio capacity.
3. Portfolio and Display Rights
By submitting a project brief, you agree that all completed work may be used in student portfolios, the studio gallery, and promotional materials for The Creative Mine. This right is perpetual and non-revocable. Individual student attribution is handled separately and is not displayed publicly without appropriate authorization.
4. Proof Approval and Revisions
Each project includes up to two (2) rounds of revision. If the client requests changes that exceed approximately 30% of the original approved scope, the project may be returned to the intake queue as a new brief. Client approval of a proof constitutes acceptance of the design for final production. The signoff statement reads: "I approve this proof for final production. I understand that revisions after this approval, or scope changes exceeding 30%, may require a new project submission."
5. Delivery
Final production files are released only after the client has approved the proof through the studio's review process. Files are delivered through a secure, tokenized download link.
6. Compensation and Funding
This website does not process payments, donations, or financial transactions of any kind. Any support links referenced on the site direct visitors to separate third-party platforms (such as Amazon or DonorsChoose). The studio does not charge for its services.
7. Timelines
Deadlines submitted during intake are requests, not guarantees. The studio typically requires a minimum 2-week lead time. Production schedules are subject to academic calendar constraints and current project load.
8. Site Disclaimer
This is a privately maintained website operated by an individual educator. It is not an official publication, endorsement, or representation of Hampshire County Schools, Hampshire High School, or any other educational institution or government entity.
9. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy for details on how submitted information is handled.
